BERGAMOT contains a powerful and unique array of cholesterol-balancing and cardio-protective polyphenolic flavonoids.

Optimizing cardiovascular health is a leading concern for many adults, and maintaining balanced cholesterol levels are an important part of that process. Though cholesterol can be consumed through food, circulating cholesterol levels are primarily produced and controlled by the liver using the rate control enzyme, HMG-CoA reductase (HMGCR). Because of its pronounced role in cholesterol synthesis, inhibiting HMGCR has become a primary target of many traditional therapies.

Bergamot, in some cases and with the approval of your provider, can actually replace a statin. It may also enhance the results of a statin or allow you to take a lower strength of a statin medication. I works to optimize your lipid levels in a variety of ways and has been investigated for many other properties including hypoglycemic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, vasoprotective and anti-tumor. When compared to statins, bergamot boasts less concerns for drug interactions and few side effects. Heartburn is the primary side effect observed and it can be mitigated. 

It's suggested to take before a meals, but if that side effect is observed then the dosage should be reduced and/or spaced out throughout the day and taken with food instead.

Directions Take three capsules once per day or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Other Ingredients Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (vegetable capsule), l-leucine, bamboo silica.

Does Not Contain Milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy.
